Spitfire II Race Fairing

Peel  RS54  Rennsport Full Race Fairing

Original weight 6 pounds 11 ounces

Our weight 5 pounds 3 ounces

This fairing may fit a /2.

It could fit /5 thru /7 bikes with the lower cylinder covers removed.

In 2008 purchased the original Peel RS54 Rennsport fairing which was raced by Kurt Liebmann in the late 50s and early 60s.

Because of the authenticity and race history of this fairing, we carefully made the mold without affecting the fairing.

The original fairing is now part of our collection hanging in our motorcycle room.

Sidecar Racer (Kneeler)

Dustbin Race Fairing

We purchased this vintage sidecar racer from Honz at Gateway BMW in St. Louis, MO

so we could mold the body work (and for the fun of owning it).

Now, it sports our body work and graphics.

October 2011 - racing at Barber!

We plan to build a vintage racer

using the dustbin fairing.

Windscreens are available from Gustafsson Plastics. http://www.bikescreen.com/index.html

Our fiberglass parts are unfinished.  This means you will need to sand, prime and paint the part.  You will also need to drill any holes necessary to mount the part.  Mounting hardware is not included, only the replacement fiberglass part.  If any hardware is included with the part, it will be stated in the description.

NOTE: Occasionally there may be surface imperfections that will need to be sanded or filled and leveled.  Some parts may have flashing that will need to be sanded, filled and leveled.

Air bubbles are an inherent problem with hand laid fiberglass.

Occasionally you may expose an air bubble while sanding the surface.  Any air bubbles will need to be filled, sanded and leveled.

You can read more on our FIBERGLASS PART INSTRUCTIONS page.

Thank You.
