BMW R80ST / R65 Cockpit Fairing

This fairing is a reproduction of an original BMW OEM fairing that was offered as an accessory for the R80ST and the R65.

We added our bracket system and have test fitted the fairing on the /5, /6 and /7 headlight assemblies. (see photos)

	BCW R65 “Manxman" Qtr Fairing Reproduction of the original BCW Qtr fairing which was designed to use the BMW S type fairing hardware. Note: Will Not work on /6 or /7 Airheads with the ignition switch in the left side of the headlight nacelle. On /6 and /7 bikes with the ignition switch in the left side of the headlight nacelle, inserting the key into the ignition switch will be difficult or impossible. To use this fairing, it would be necessary to relocate the ignition switch. $140 w/o brackets

Slash 5 brackets include spacers for the narrower headlight nacelle.

PLEASE READ

Our fiberglass parts are unfinished. This means you will need to sand, prime and paint the part. You will also need to drill any holes necessary to mount the part. Mounting hardware is not included, only the replacement fiberglass part. If any hardware is included with the part, it will be stated in the description.

NOTE: Occasionally there may be surface imperfections that will need to be sanded or filled and leveled. Some parts may have flashing that will need to be sanded, filled and leveled.

Air bubbles are an inherent problem with hand laid fiberglass.

Occasionally you may expose an air bubble while sanding the surface. Any air bubbles will need to be filled, sanded and leveled.
